Antifa leave autonomous zone in Portland park after nearly three weeks

“White supremacy stole our comrade”
“Suck my girl dick”
“Kill all Nazis with fire”
“Andy are to blame”
“We know it’s Ngo fault”

After more than two weeks, antifa have left the memorial-turned-autonomous zone they set up at Normandale Park in Portland, Ore.

The occupation and vandalism began following the antifa vs. furry mass shooting on Feb. 19, in which their comrade, Brandy Lynn Knightly, was killed. Benjamin Smith, the accused shooter, was critically injured by someone from the antifa side who shot him with a rifle. Police confirmed that critical evidence was removed from the scene. On social media, antifa accounts told each other to not cooperate with police and to delete evidence posted online.

The Normandale Park autonomous zone scared residents in the area as it was next to a children’s play zone. A local broadcast journalist with KGW was threatened with violence after he reported on the occupation.
