Special counsel John Durham, who recently completed a landmark report admonishing the FBI for its handling of the Trump-Russia probe, is set to testify before the House Judiciary Committee next month, according to Congressman Troy Nehls (R-TX).

As the Judiciary Committee continues its oversight hearings of the FBI, Durham will be brought in on June 24th for likely questioning about the evidence he gathered to complete a report that called into question why the Bureau acted hastily to implicate President Donald Trump in a campaign of collusion with Russia. Whistleblowers and veteran former agents have since come forward to decry a culture of “politicization” at the agency and the “weaponization” of its investigatory powers against perceived enemies of President Joe Biden.
The fallout from Durham’s report has been swift. President Trump immediately claimed vindication, writing on Truth Social, “The American people were scammed.” On Wednesday lawmakers were left “speechless” when a senior FBI official admitted she hadn’t read the special counsel’s report and refused to say whether the Bureau would be altering its procedures as a result. Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Green (R-GA) has introduced articles of impeachment against FBI Director Christopher Wray, Attorney General Merrick Garland, and President Joe Biden.
