Maxine Waters, Congresswoman from the “breakfast cereal state” of California, has unleashed her endless capacity for aimless vitriol on Donald Trump for calling for protests ahead of a looming arrest for a campaign violation next week.
“I just wanted to, you know, have you to understand that perhaps he was trying to organize domestic terrorists, to protest his arrest.”

“You had been warning everybody since the beginning of the Trump presidency about who he is,” MSNBC host Jonathan Capehart said. “Your reaction to the breaking news this morning from the former president who says on his own social media platform that he will be arrested, he says this, on Tuesday.”
“Well, let me just say this, Jonathan,” Waters replied. “Constantly, as I travel around the country, people are asking me, when is he going to be arrested and indicted? Is he above the law, hasn’t done enough so that the American people can have faith and confidence that the law applies to him also? Yes, I started very early warning the American public about this president I have never seen.”
“Most people have never seen or believed that we would have a president who has acted in the way that he has, who has disrespected the Constitution of the United States of America, who has lied, who has tried to organize domestic terrorists,” she claimed.
“And some believe that he did organize them as they attacked our Capitol on January 6,” she went on. “This president has conducted himself in a way that he does not deserve not to be arrested. He should be arrested. He should be indicted. And the charges that he’s being indicted on are minimal, as opposed to the charges that I believe he could have been indicted on. I don’t know what’s going to happen when he announces himself. It’s almost like he’s attempting to organize his domestic terrorists to show up and to resist him being arrested. You have to be careful with him.”
“I just wanted to, you know, have you to understand that perhaps he was trying to organize domestic terrorists, to protest his arrest,” she added. “And I think we have to be careful about him making that announcement. He’s doing it for a reason.”
“Right,” Capehart said. “And we are being careful about reporting that aspect of his Truth Social post.”
On Saturday, President Trump went nuclear on Truth Social over the reports he is likely to be arrested by authorities next week. A Soros-backed New York D.A. is set to indict him over a “hush money payment” made to Stormy Daniels in 2006.
“IT’S TIME!!!,” Trump exclaimed. “WE ARE A NATION IN STEEP DECLINE, BEING LED INTO WORLD WAR III BY A CROOKED POLITICIAN WHO DOESN’T EVEN KNOW HE’S ALIVE, BUT WHO IS SURROUNDED BY EVIL & SINISTER PEOPLE WHO, BASED ON THEIR ACTIONS ON DEFUNDING THE POLICE, DESTROYING OUR MILITARY, OPEN BORDERS, NO VOTER I.D., INFLATION, RAISING TAXES, & MUCH MORE, CAN ONLY HATE OUR NOW FAILING USA. WE JUST CAN’T ALLOW THIS ANYMORE. THEY’RE KILLING OUR NATION AS WE SIT BACK & WATCH. WE MUST SAVE AMERICA! PROTEST, PROTEST, PROTEST!!!”
It is interesting that Waters is claiming that Donald Trump is organizing “domestic terrorists” to protest, when he has held over a hundred rallies with no incident of violence, the FBI has found no evidence tying Trump to a centrally organized plot to carry out a so-called “insurrection,” and the only people killed at the Capitol Riots on January 6 were Trump supporters.
American citizens should be very wary about turning out to protest in major cities this week. Even as Trump supporters remain peaceful and patriotic, there may be extremists and operatives seeking to turn the protest into a so-called “insurrection.”
