Nashville Shooter Was Getting Counseling From Pastor Whose Daughter She Killed

According to a shocking new report, the transgender Nashville shooter was getting counseling from the pastor  whose daughter she killed on Monday. The daughter was one of three children, and six total people, who were murdered on Monday’s shooting at The Covenant Christian School.

“He was counseling her?” the Inside Edition reporter asked former Covenant School Pastor Jim Bachmann.

“That’s what I’m hearing. He was providing counseling for her. And something didn’t sit right,” he said.

The New York Post reported:

Bachmann told Inside Edition Hale appeared to be searching for Scruggs in surveillance footage police have since released. The video shows a heavily-armed Hale looking around as she stalked through empty hallways.

“If she had found Chad, if she had tried to kill him, maybe she would have left the daughter alone,” Bachmann speculated. The reason why Scruggs was counseling Hale and how long he had been coaching her has not been revealed.

Nashville Metro Police have said they are still looking for a motive for the attack and are studying a manifesto which had been written by Hale. They have also said she had drawn up plans to target two other schools in the area, but abandoned them because they were too secure.

Prior to the attack, Hale sent several messages to a former classmate, telling the woman: “I’m planning to die today … You’ll probably hear about me on the news.”

Hale killed three nine-year-olds: Hallie Scruggs (the daughter of the Pastor), Evelyn Dieckhaus, and William Kinney, as well as Mike Hill, the school janitor, Cynthia Peak, the substitute teacher, and Katherine Koonce, the headmistress, who bravely attempted to shield the school from the shooter.

Hale had previously attended the Christian school. The police chief gave an update saying that Hale had a manifesto and the shooting was a direct targeted attack.

“We have a manifesto. We have some writing we’re going over that pertain to this date, the actual incident. We have a map drawn out of how this all was going to take place. There’s right now a theory that we may be able to talk about later, but it’s not confirmed.”

Another reporter asked, “So was this a targeted attack?”

“It was,” the chief said.
