Biden Freezes Up During Speech, Appears Extremely Confused

President Joe Biden faced a brief hiccup on Friday, prompting commentators to once again question his mental acuity. During his speech, Biden momentarily froze, appearing confused, and struggled to articulate his thoughts for nearly ten seconds.

The incident occurred as Biden was discussing statements attributed to former President Donald Trump regarding NATO allies and Russia.

“All of us should reject the dangerous statements made by [Trump] that invited Russia to invade our NATO allies if they weren’t paying up,” Biden stated before pausing, seemingly lost in his train of thought.

In a clip circulating on social media, Biden can be seen struggling to complete his sentence, stumbling over his words, and ultimately acknowledging his own mental lapse with a self-deprecating remark. This momentary freeze lasted for over 10 seconds, further fueling concerns about the President’s cognitive abilities.

In early February, Special Counsel Robert Hur released a comprehensive report meticulously detailing instances of mismanagement of sensitive information by the president, pinpointing a critical and alarming aspect of the situation: the president’s memory appears to be suffering from “significant limitations.”

“Mr. Biden’s memory was significantly limited, both during his recorded interviews with the ghostwriter in 2017, and in his interview with our office in 2023,” the report stated

“And his cooperation with our investigation, including by reporting to the government that the Afghanistan documents were in his Delaware garage, will likely convince some jurors that he made an innocent mistake, rather than acting willfully – that is, with intent to break the law – as the statute requires.”

“We have also considered that, at trial, Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory. Based on our direct interactions with and observations of him, he is someone for whom many jurors will want to identify reasonable doubt.”
