In recent White House press briefings, Karine Jean-Pierre has attempted to dismiss claims of mass releases of migrants at the border. However, reporter Bill Melugin from FOX LA has debunked this narrative with a video that vividly showcases the presence of dozens – if not hundreds – of undocumented immigrants in downtown Brownsville, Texas.
The video, filmed near a bus station, reveals a concerning situation where migrants are being released en masse and receiving assistance from non-governmental organizations (NGOs) with travel documents.
This location in Brownsville has been the site of such mass releases for over a year, according to Melugin’s ongoing reports. Contrary to what Jean-Pierre asserted, the occurrence of mass releases is not a recent development but an ongoing issue.

Melugin further reported that Border Patrol sources informed him that hundreds of migrants are released at a parking garage near the NGO’s office on a daily basis.
The numbers can sometimes reach as high as 10 busloads in a single day. To illustrate the impact of these releases, Melugin interviewed a Venezuelan man who had crossed the border illegally and had been released that very morning.
With a smile on his face, the man confidently stated that the end of Title 42, which allows for the expulsion of migrants due to health concerns, did not pose an obstacle for him. His message was clear: anyone can successfully make it to the United States.
