Ummm… Estonia is not Russia’s eastern neighbor. It’s at the other end. Also, there are a lot of Russian speakers in former parts of the Soviet Union, because, during the Soviet era, particularly Stalin’s, people were forcibly moved out of those countries and replaced with Russians;
People forget the Baltics were the first to break off from the Soviets, and they are the EU. Just because people speak Russian, doesn’t mean they are loyal to Russia, any more than Irish people are loyal to England;
Propaganda works coz many people WANT to believe it. Kind of dependent to get a superpower feeling, like in USSR times. Understandable, but the amount of hate towards Ukraine and Ukrainians is terrible. Check also Russian-speaking FB groups around the EU, so many propaganda supporters. Its a real weapon, we should take it seriously;
