State Of Texas Suing Biden Administration Over ‘Unlawful’ Migrant Release Policy

The State of Texas has taken legal action against the Biden administration, filing a lawsuit challenging the “unlawful” migrant release policy.

With the U.S./Mexico border witnessing increasing chaos, Texas aims to address the concerning situation.

Texas contends that Biden’s policies are putting undue strain on the state, compromising public safety, and disregarding federal immigration laws. Texas is seeking legal remedies to protect its citizens and ensure proper immigration enforcement.

As this legal battle unfolds, it remains to be seen how it will impact the broader immigration debate and the overall management of the border.

Stay tuned for further developments on this significant issue.

Early Friday, a group of over 30 migrants arrived at Vice President Kamala Harris’ residence in northwest Washington, D.C. today. This was one of the first buses to arrive from the Texas border in months, just hours before the expected lifting of Title 42 according to NBC.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott, a Republican, previously pledged to continue transporting migrants to Democratic cities, holding the Biden administration responsible for what he considers an overwhelming influx of migrants. Arizona has also been coordinating with local D.C. officials to bus migrants to Washington.

The migrants, including men, women, and children, were met by volunteers from SAMU First Response and Mutual Aid. They were then transferred to another charter bus, which would take them to a designated location for their immediate needs assessment and planning their next steps.
